Mohamed Elsonbaty Ramadan, MSc
Mohamed Elsonbaty is an Award-winning Science Communication Consultant and Trainer and aFreelance Science Journalist. He has been working as a consultant for many international organizations as British Council, 1001 Inventions and the American University in Cairo, where he developed and delivered various science communication projects and events to engage the public with science. His work was featured in British Science Week, Berlin Science Week and Egypt Science Week among other international events. Mohamed has been working as a Freelance Science Journalist for 8 years, where he published more than 650 pieces in different reputable outlets including Scientific American, SciDev.Net, MIT Technology Review and Popular Science.
Mohamed holds a Master degree in Science Communication and Public Engagement from the University of Edinburgh, through the prestigious Chevening scholarship. Mohamed was awarded the EurekAlert! Fellowship by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) in 2019. In addition, he was chosen as Mijbil Al-Mutua Award winner for young science communication professionals in MENA region in 2017. Mohamed is a member of Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCST) network and the Association of British Science Writers (ABSW).
