Mohamed Elsonbaty Ramadan, MSc
Mohamed Elsonbaty is a Science Communication Consultant and Trainer and a Freelance Science Journalist. He worked as a consultant for many international organizations as British Council, 1001 Inventions and the American University in Cairo, where he developed and delivered various science communication projects and informal science education events to engage the public with science. As a Science Communication Trainer, he has delivered several training sessions about communicating science and writing about sciences for more than 200 trainees around the world.In addition, he has been working as a Freelance Science Journalist for 6 years, where he published more than 400 pieces in different reputable outlets including Scientific American, SciDev.Net and MIT Technology Review.
Mohamed Elsonbaty obtained his Master degree in Science Communication and Public Engagement at the University of Edinburgh in 2016, through the prestigious Chevening Scholarship. He earned his Bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences at Alexandria University in 2011. He was chosen in 2017, as the first winner of Mijbil Al-Mutua Award for young science communication professionals in MENA region. He was recognized by the FameLab as on of top Egyptian science communicators. He is a member of Public Communication of Science and Technology (PCST) network.
